with a particular emphasis on working with BIPOC athletes and parents. Through hockey
and expanding into additional avenues, we’ve actively promoted diversity, creating a
platform for open-minded living. Our seminars following on-ice sessions have empowered
athletes to navigate and respond to racism and discrimination. By prioritizing the
inclusion of all individuals we’ve cultivated an environment that fosters personal and
societal growth. Moreover, our commitment extends to addressing racial and discriminatory
acts, emphasizing cross-cultural awareness. As a dedicated resource for athletes,
AZ1 Hockey is driving positive change in both sports and society, promoting unity,
and understanding.

Our well-structured camps and seminars led by young adult instructors with university,
collegiate, or professional hockey backgrounds, emphasizes individual skills, creativity,
and personal development. Our goal is to provide a unique and dynamic experience,

This policy applies to all current members of AZ1 Hockey LTD and extends to our treatment

and the organization at large experience the benefits of diversity. Inclusion provides everyone
with the right to participate in our organization.

As an organization, AZ1 Hockey is committed to:

COMPLAINTS:
It is the expectation of AZ1 Hockey LTD that all members adhere to the commitments outlined
above. Any breach of this policy should be reported immediately to AZ1 founders or directors.
REPRISALS:
Members who file a valid complaint in accordance with this policy will not be subject to
any form of retaliation, either direct or indirect.
POLICY REVIEW:
AZ1 Hockey is committed to reviewing our policies regularly. This policy will be reviewed
no less than once every three years.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Diversity and Inclusion Policy of
AZ1 Hockey LTD. I agree to comply with this policy and its guiding principles. I understand
that I am responsible for creating an environment that is free from discrimination and
where people feel included and welcomed. Should I not act in accordance with the intentions
outlined in this policy, I may be subject to corrective action up to and including termination
from all AZ1 Hockey projects, seminars, events, and sporting activities.
